TARNOBRZEG 2002
From 5 to 13 October we were staying in Tarnobrzeg at the "Days of Hope" evangelism. The boss of Euromission International, Tormod Bakkevold came there with his wife Margrit and children as well as the Euromission team from Norway; about 12 people altogether. We had 9 big evangelistic meetings, including 2 meetings for children and families. They were attended by a few hundred people. We distributed about 3,000 invitations for the evangelism in addition to over 300 evangelistic tracts, "We Bring Hope". About 120 people came forward to pray for salvation and a solution to their problems. Those who prayed for salvation were also given New Testaments. 90 people left their addresses for us to stay in touch with them as pen-friends. We also had a possibility to pray for the president of Tarnobrzeg and preach the Gospel in a local radio station which has a few hundred thousand listeners. We are really encouraged and edified by what God was doing in Tarnobrzeg. We are glad that we could sow a seed of hope in the hearts of so many people. Please pray for the church in Tarnobrzeg and for the ones the Gospel was preached to.
