PARCZEW
2003
The third evangelistic campaign took place in Parczew from 19 to 23 July. There is no evangelical church there, either, but there is a group of active Christians there. They are families from the Pentecostal churches in Lublin and Lubartów. Parczew is a town of 12,000 inhabitants and a very rich history. The evangelistic concerts for children, young people and adults took place in the local cultural center. During 5 days there were 9 concerts altogether. People came forward and prayed for salvation, healing and solutions to their problems. We could see God moving powerfully among young people. Many of them stayed after the concerts to have long talks about faith. Some people experienced a special encounter with God, as they later said in their testimonies. A young Christian lady was very moved as she was saying that after a long period of depression and discouragement she could finally go to sleep with a smile on her face because Jesus had lifted great burden off her back. Now in Parczew there are weekly follow-up meetings.
