GORKI
2004
On
Sunday, 1 February, we and the youth from Lublin went for an outreach in the
village of Górki, about 80 kilometres north of Lublin. It is a place
similar to Wyhalew, where most inhabitants do not have a job after the
closing down of the agricultural production centre. Our evangelistic concert
was connected with distributing parcels for children under the auspices of
the “Christmas Surprise” campaign. The meeting hall was filled with
children, their parents and even grandparents. It seemed that this small
hall could hold most of the inhabitants of the village. After the
evangelistic preaching many people prayed for salvation. We were also able
to distribute a lot of evangelistic materials.
